Kanpur News: CSJMU students will now study and research in Russia, MoU signed between the university

Kanpur : Students enrolled in Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University will now get a chance to study in Russia. They will not only be able to study from foreign teachers but will also be able to do research with the students there. An MoU has been signed between CSJMU and Russia’s Petrozabosk State University for this. This is the first international agreement of the university. Till now this facility was available only to the students of IITs. For the first time, the students of the university have got the girl students.

Agreement through virtual means

Vice Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Prof. Vinay Pathak and Head Director of the International Department of the University of Russia, Prof. An agreement was reached between Marina Gosdeva. The first meeting took place after the agreement through virtual medium and a strategy has been made to improve the quality of education and state-of-the-art research. Prof. Vinay Pathak told that the QS ranking of this Russian university is 260.

Told about the ancient relations between India and Russia and informed about the schemes going on in the university. After the agreement, lecture series, joint research program, faculty exchange program, students exchange program will be started. He said that the students of Kanpur will go to Russia to study for some time and the students from there will come to the city.

Pro. Marina Gosdeva informed about various research and schemes going on in Russia. Said that his university is leading in research in the field of diabetes and construction. He said that soon a joint research program of students and teachers will also be started. Whereas the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sudhir Awasthi gave information about the work done on diabetes and cancer along with the research being done on various types of complications caused by low temperature.

Won gold medal in athletics 100 meter race

A huge number of players from different states of India participated in the Youth Games National Golden Cup organized by Fit India and Youth Games Federation at MKCS Sports Complex, New Delhi. Many sports like athletics, badminton, kabaddi, volleyball, taekwondo took place in this program. Students of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University also participated in this.

Om Gupta of CSJMU has won the gold medal in the 100 meter race competition in athletics. He completed this 100 meter race in just 11:30 seconds and confirmed the gold medal. His selection was done from the state level and he has also won gold in the 100 meter race at the state level. He has given credit for this achievement to Indian Youth Games Federation, Fit India, NITI Aayog, MSME, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University and his parents.
