Kanpur News: CSJMU signs agreement with ICSI, CS professionals will now be able to do PhD in Management and Commerce

Now CS professionals will be able to do PhD in Management and Commerce subjects from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, (CSJMU) in Kanpur. This was said by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak said. Earlier, an agreement was signed between the university and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Under this agreement, educational and professional development will be promoted. During a program organized at the Center of Academic of the University, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. An MOU was signed between Vinay Kumar Pathak and ICSI Central Council Member CS Suresh Pandey. At the time of the agreement, Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav, Dean Administration Prof. Sudhanshu Pandia, Prof. Anshu Yadav was present.

Young CS professionals will work for the development of the country.

Whereas Prof. Sudhanshu Pandia said that curriculum development, research initiatives, faculty exchange programs and joint seminars and conferences will be organized. Prof. Pathak said that the students of the University will have the opportunity to enhance their understanding in corporate governance, legal compliance and corporate secretarial practices through access to ICSI’s resources, expertise and industry insights. Young CS professionals will also have to work on Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics and Data Science for the development of the country. On this occasion, Kanpur Chapter President CS Vaibhav Agnihotri, CS Rakesh Srivastava, Dr. Praveen Aggarwal etc. were present.

Students accused of ragging apologized

There has been a new twist in the case of ragging in Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology. The two senior students who had beaten up a first semester student of the university, went to Tilak’s hostel and apologized to the victim in front of all the students. Due to this an agreement was reached between both the parties. However, the formal agreement papers have not been received by the police or the university registrar. The victim student had lodged a report in the Nawabganj police station against two senior students in the ragging case. The university’s committee is also investigating in this matter. Meanwhile, Nawabganj police station in-charge Dinanath said that information has been received about the agreement between the two parties in the case of ragging. However, the students have not yet given the written information to the police.
