After seven years, the approval was finally given for the construction of a bridge from next to Anandeshwar Temple Corridor to Transganga City in Kanpur. The committee formed under the chairmanship of CDO has submitted the feasibility report to the DM. At the same time, the proposal of Transganga bridge from Sarsaiya Ghat and Green Park was rejected. A proposal has been made to raise a bridge on the vacant land of Tafco factory on VIP Road. Efforts to build this bridge to connect Transganga City to the city have been going on for seven years. The length of the bridge to be constructed including the approach road is 4346.88 meters. First there were preparations to land it in front of Sarsaiya Ghat and then in front of Green Park. The DM had formed a committee of CDO, Additional Police Commissioner Traffic, Chief Engineer UPCDA, Setu Nigam General Manager, Executive Engineer PWD and Project Director NHAI. The committee had to study the feasibility of the bridge on traffic load analysis and carriage way basis and identify options regarding the alignment of the proposed bridge. The committee found the right option to land the bridge on the vacant land of the Tafco factory located next to the Anandeshwar temple corridor.
