The bear will also be given honey along with fruits. Monkeys and deer will also be given jaggery along with food. Along with the daily food, the rhino will now also be given sugarcane and sweet potatoes.

Less food will be given to snakes

Snakes roam more in summer and rainy season, hence the snakes of the zoo were given a rat once a week and the python was given a rabbit. In cold their body temperature decreases and they move less. Therefore, they will be given food only once in 20 to 25 days. At the same time, crocodiles and gharials also move less in cold. Therefore, the fish available twice a week will be given once in 20 days during winter.
