Two brothers were beaten to death in Kanpur Dehat on Thursday night due to a land dispute. Besides, the accused also carried out a fatal attack on four members of the family. Everyone’s condition is critical. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot. At present, SP and ASP have reached the spot on information. A large number of police forces are deployed in the village.
Actually, Satya Narayan Sharma, resident of Ninaya village of Gajner, had taken a land in the village itself many years ago. There was a dispute on this with the family of Mohan Shukla of the same village. There was a dispute between both the parties regarding this matter on Thursday night. After this, Mohan attacked Anjani, Sundar and others of the family with sticks and beat them fiercely. Satya Narayan (72), his brother Ramveer (56), Ramveer’s wife Madhu, daughter Meenu, Kajal and son Sanju were injured in the attack. They were admitted to Gajner CHC late in the night, where considering the critical condition of everyone, they were referred to Hallett Hospital. Where Satyanarayan and Ramveer died on Friday morning. When the villagers came to know about the death in the morning, a crowd gathered.
Here’s how the controversy started
According to the people of the village, Ramveer Sharma had got a government accommodation. To get it made, he had ordered material from a pickup. Mohan Shukla kept the cot at this place on Thursday evening. During this time the dispute over removal of the cot started. Mohan started abusing while telling about his land. This matter was calmed down in the evening. But late at night around 11.30 the noise started again.
When he came out, he saw Mohan and his family members beating Ramveer with sticks. Ramveer used to sleep on a cot outside his house. He was attacked during this time. Other members of Ramveer’s family who came to intervene were also attacked. In this, elder brother Satyanarayan also got badly hurt. At the same time, Ramveer’s wife Madhu, daughter Kajal, son Binu and Sonu were beaten with sticks and axes. When all the villagers gathered together and came to stop them, Mohan ran away along with his family.

At the same time, police investigation has revealed that the people who came to dispute with Ramveer were drunk. As soon as information about the incident was received, SP BBGTS Murthy and ASP Rajesh Pandey reached the spot with the police force. He questioned many people of the village about the incident. On the matter, SP BBGTS Murthy said that there was a dispute regarding parking of the pickup of the accused on the plot. The team is engaged in search of the accused.
