A speeding car went out of control and fell into a drain in Kanpur Dehat. Six people including a BSF jawan have died in the accident. While two people are injured. The injured have been admitted to hospital. The police reached the spot, took possession of the dead bodies and started investigation. Actually, at around 2.00 pm on Sunday night in Kanpur Dehat, a Swift Dezire car overturned in an uncontrolled drain near Jagannathpur village on Sandalpur road of Sikandra. 8 people in the car were returning from Etawah after attending a Tilak ceremony. Six people in the car died in the accident, while two children trapped in the car were rescued safely. SP and ASP reached the incident site at night. Everyone was sent to the hospital where doctors declared six people dead. Car rider driver Vikas son of Ramakant (42), resident of Murra police station Derapur, Khushboo daughter of Pankaj Sharma (17), resident of Murra police station Derapur, Golu son of Vijay (16), resident of Bairi Baghpur police station Shivli, Pratik son Pawan (10) Shailha police station Shivrajpur. Kanpur Nagar, Sanjay alias Sanju, son of late. Motilal (55) resident of Murra Mahoi police station Derapur, Prachi daughter Pankaj Sharma (13) resident of Murra police station Derapur Kanpur Dehat died on the spot. While Vaishnavi’s daughter Vikas (16) resident of Murra police station Derapur and Virat’s son Vikas (18) resident of Murra police station Derapur are injured in the car. He has been sent to the hospital. All the bodies have been sent to the mortuary. SP BBGTS Murthy and other officers are on the spot. According to the information, Pankaj Sharma, a resident of Murra of Derapur police station area of Kanpur Dehat, had gone to Phunk village of Etawah with his relatives and family to offer Tilak to his daughter. While returning after attending the program, an accident occurred when the car went out of control and fell into the drain.

Local people immediately informed the police about the incident. On receiving information about the car falling into the pond, the police reached the spot and pulled the car out with the help of JCB. After this, all the people in the car were taken out and taken to Sikandra CHC. Where doctors declared 6 people dead and admitted 2 children to the hospital. Pankaj Sharma told that the car fell into the drain and drowned. There were 8 people sitting in the car. In which cousins, uncles and relatives were there. I also had two children in the car, who survived. The children told that some animal had come from the front. After colliding with it, the car fell into the drain.
