Kanpur Dehat: 8 policemen and accountant suspended in double murder case, departmental inquiry ordered, know complete update

Eight policemen, including an inspector and two sub-inspectors, have been suspended for their negligence in the double murder case that took place on Saturday in Shahjahanpur Ninaya of Gajner in Kanpur Dehat. Kanpur Dehat SP BVGTS Murthy said that even after getting information about the dispute between two parties in Shahjahanpur Ninayan, Ganjer police was negligent. On the day of the incident, PRV went to the spot on information about the dispute. Even after this, no action was taken against the people who were disputing. Due to this negligence, police station in-charge inspector Sanjesh Kumar, Pama outpost in-charge Kaushal Kumar, UP 112 sub-inspector Vishun Lal, chief constable Kamal Sonkar, Amar Singh, Ravindra Singh, Naresh Prajapati, Brajendra Pal have been suspended. Along with this, a departmental inquiry has been set up. Kanpur Dehat District Magistrate Alok Singh has taken action against the Accountant and Revenue Inspector in this matter. He has suspended accountant Sachin Gautam with immediate effect. Also, an order for departmental action has been issued against the Revenue Inspector.

Actually, Satyanarayan (72), resident of Shahjahanpur Ninaya of Gajner police station area, was constructing a house on his land. Due to which he was having a dispute with Mohan Shukla, who lives in the neighbourhood, regarding the same land. During this time, to create obstruction in the construction work, Mohan Shukla had parked his pickup vehicle at the same spot. When Satnarayan informed about the construction work and asked to remove the pickup vehicle, an argument started between the two parties and within no time the dispute escalated.

During this time, Mohan Shukla and others started beating Satyanarayan and his family and Mohan Shukla and his associates severely beat up Satyanarayan and his family. In which 6 people including Satyanarayan were seriously injured. As soon as the police got information about the incident, they reached the spot and immediately sent all the injured to the district hospital for treatment. Satyanarayan and his brother, who were seriously injured during treatment in the district hospital, were referred to Hallett Hospital in Kanpur, where both of them died.
