Kanpur: CSJMU examinations will start from December 9 in three shifts, exams will also be held on Sundays and holidays.

Kanpur News: The odd semester examinations of undergraduate and postgraduate conducted under the National Education Policy in the colleges affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University are starting from December 9. The exams should end soon, so there will be papers on Sundays and holidays also. The first shift will be from 8 to 10 in the morning, the second shift from 11 to 1 in the morning and the third shift from 2 to 4 in the afternoon. The university administration has announced winter vacation from December 31 to January 6. The odd semester examinations of BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSC, MCom, BCA and BBA of more than 600 colleges affiliated to the university running in Kanpur city, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Auraiya and Etawah are starting.

The exam will be held in 40 minutes interval

President of Kanpur University Teachers Association (Kuta), Prof. BD Pandey, Patron of Kanpur University Principal Council (KUPA), Prof. Vivek Dwivedi and General Secretary Prof. Objection came from VK Katiyar, Dr. Kamlesh Yadav and Dr. Akhand Pratap Singh of Kanpur University Self-Financed Teachers Association and Vinay Trivedi and Dr. Brijesh Bhadauria of Uttar Pradesh Self-Financed College Association. Understanding the problem, the university administration has called an emergency meeting. CDC Director Prof. RK Dwivedi told that there will be a meeting regarding the examination committee. Only after this the problem will be solved. Meanwhile, Director of College Development Council, Prof. RK Dwivedi told that odd examinations are starting from 9th December. Studies for the next semester will start from January 15, 2024.

Do not conduct exams in aided colleges

Examinations of self-financed colleges should not be conducted in aided colleges. If necessary, examinations should be conducted through self-centred system on the lines of Lucknow University. This proposal has been prepared after brainstorming by all the members of Kanpur University Principal Council (KUPA). This proposal was made by CSJMU Vice Chancellor Prof. on behalf of KUPA.
