Kanpur. The Air Force Station located at Chakeri is going to celebrate Platinum Jubilee celebrations on 24th November. On this occasion, an air show will also be organized by the Air Force. The ceremony will last for about 4 hours, in which vintage aircraft flying will also be displayed. Old aircraft can be seen in it. Airmen will show different skills in the Air Warriors Drill Performance. According to the Air Force spokesperson, the One Base Repair Depot of Air Force Station Chakeri is a major air service agency and the oldest maintenance unit of the Indian Air Force. It is celebrating its platinum jubilee on completion of 75 years on 24th November. According to the spokesperson, the program will be inaugurated with the release of the cover on the first day.

Air Officer Commanding in Chief, Maintenance Command, Air Marshal Vibhas Pandey will be the chief guest of the program. He will be welcomed by Air Commander MK Praveen, Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Kanpur, along with Group Captain Deepak Namdev, Commanding Officer of One Base Repair Depot. All the veterans of the depot including PUEV Commanding Officers will participate in the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. There will be various show stopping programs to celebrate this platinum jubilee. In this, information will be given about various aircraft of the Air Force like rifle drill by Air Warrior Drill Team, drone demonstration by IIT Kanpur, Akash Ganga team display and victory formation.
