The ritual related to breaking the fast is called Paran. This is considered the most auspicious time to break the fast. Devotees should follow the Hindu Panchang to know the time of Paran. Here we have mentioned the Paran time according to Drik Panchang. Paran time means morning of Dwadashi Tithi. If people are unable to break their fast at the time of Paran, then they should wait for them.

Devotees who observe Ekadashi Vrat on the holy day of Ekadashi should wake up early in the morning, take a holy bath. Clean the temple area and place Lord Vishnu’s idol and Shree Yantra. Light a lamp, apply turmeric or yellow sandalwood tilak, offer garlands of yellow flowers, fruits and sweets, Tulsi leaves and Panchamrit. Recite Vishnu Sahasranama and chant Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. If you have committed any mistake during the Ekadashi fast, then seek forgiveness from Lord Vishnu.
