Arrested in ration scam in West Bengal Forest Minister and former Food Minister Jyotipriya Mallik (Jyotipriya Mullick) is currently lodged in Presidency Jail. The special thing is that despite living in the same ward of Presidency Jail, Jyotipriya Mallik refused to meet Partha Chatterjee and Manik Bhattacharya. According to jail sources, the former Food Minister raised objection while entering the first ward. Jyotipriya Mallik is in cell number 7 of ward number 21. Former Education Minister Partha Chatterjee, involved in the teacher appointment corruption case, is in cell number 2. Apart from this, Manik Bhattacharya is also present in this list. According to jail sources, Jyotipriyo repeatedly asked for a mobile phone. Later Jyotipriya Mallik was shifted to cell number 7 of the twenty-second ward.
