JPSC Paper Leak Case: Jamtara – In the paper leak and video viral case in JPSC examination, Mihijam police of Jamtara has arrested three accused from Deoghar district and sent them to jail. The arrested accused include Chandan Kumar Das of Korkotta village of Madhupur police station area of ​​Deoghar district, Chandan Kumar Das of Kashidih village of Kunda police station area and Vineet Kumar of Pachiyari Kothiya village of Deoghar. The arrested accused Vineet Kumar is accused in Mihijam police station case number 20-2024. Along with these, 50 unknown people were made accused. Chandan Kumar Das, father Meghlal Das and Chandan Kumar Das, father Tarani Das are accused in Mihijam police station case number 21-2024. In this case, a case was registered against 20 candidates named and 50 unknown candidates.

The exam was held on March 17
It is noteworthy that on March 17, JPSC examination was conducted in 19 centers across the district, in which the examination center was made at JJS Degree College and JJS Inter College in Mihijam. As soon as the examination started, someone spread the rumor of paper leak in the center of JJS Degree College. After this, a large number of candidates came out of the examination hall carrying OMR seats and started creating ruckus. Its local administration had to make a lot of efforts. On the other hand, a video had also gone viral in which candidates taking OMR seats were taking the exam sitting in the verandah.

Case registered in Mihijam police station
In this matter, the magistrates deputed at both the centers had registered separate cases at Mihijam police station. A complaint was lodged against the candidates on the statement of Executive Magistrate Ajaz Hussain Ansari, who was present during the examination at JJS Degree College, Mihijam. In this, a case has been registered against candidate Vineet Kumar roll number 23285718 and 50 unknown others. On the other hand, case number 21/2024 was registered on the statement of Inter College Magistrate cum Karmatand CO Rampravesh Kumar. There are allegations against all the examinees of conspiring to disrupt the examination and obstructing government work.
