JPSC Exam: Three and a half lakh candidates will appear for 11th, 12th and 13th Civil Services PT exam at 834 centres.

JPSC Exam: The 11th, 12th and 13th Civil Services Preliminary Examination (PT) will be held by Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) on 17 March 2024 in 834 examination centers set up in 24 districts of the state. More than three and a half lakh candidates are appearing in this examination. 137 examination centers have been made in Ranchi for 63491 candidates. Necessary arrangements have been made to prevent malpractices in the examination.

JPSC exam will be held in two shifts

PT will be held in two shifts. The first shift exam will be held from 10 am to 12 noon. In this there will be examination of General Studies Paper One. Whereas the second shift will be from 2 pm to 4 pm. In this there will be examination of General Studies Paper 2. Candidates appearing for JPSC examination have been instructed to reach the examination center one hour before the commencement of the examination. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall only after necessary security check.

What should candidates bring to the examination center?

According to the instructions issued by the Commission, candidates can bring the admit card and attendant sheet with them to the examination centre. Apart from this, you have to bring two color updated passport size photographs along with two additional updated photographs for both the shifts. Blue/black ball point pen will have to be used to fill the bubbles on the OMR sheet. The candidate will have to bring with him an original photo identity card like Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport/Voter ID Card etc.

What the candidate does not have to bring

Candidates appearing in the examination are prohibited from bringing any copy, book or notes, mobile phone, blue tooth device, electronic watch, calculator, pager, chip or any device affecting the computer. Making any kind of writing/mark outside the designated space of the OMR answer sheet is prohibited. Use of pens/pencils of any color other than blue/black ball point pen is prohibited. It is prohibited to bring bags, food, water bottles along.
