IPS officer-turned-politician Dr Arun Oraon, who is now the spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has slammed the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for raising questions on the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). It has been said that JMM is enjoying power today only on the basis of results declared by EVM and Election Commission.
Dr. Arun Oraon retaliated on Supriyo Bhattacharya’s statement
Dr. Oraon gave a strong reaction on Wednesday (3 March) to the statement of JMM general secretary cum chief spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya. Dr. Oraon said that till now 8 DMs and 12 SPs of 5 states have been changed on the instructions of the Election Commission in the country. SP of Deoghar is also included in this. He said that JMM’s panic shows that the SP of Deoghar is not a state police officer, but a JMM worker.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is worried even before the election defeat
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Dr. Arun Oraon said that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is scared of its impending defeat. We still have to face defeat. He said that the Election Commission is an impartial and constitutional institution, which is committed to conducting fair elections in the country. Dr. Oraon said that JMM considers itself above all these. He said that any such organization which does not work in favor of JMM will become pro-BJP.
The government is running on the basis of EVMs and the decisions of the Election Commission.
Dr. Arun Oraon did not stop here. He said that on the basis of the results declared by JMM, which JMM is abusing the EVM machine and the Election Commission, JMM is enjoying power in the ‘thuggish state’.

Election Commission has the right to transfer and posting during elections.
BJP spokesperson said that it is the right of the Election Commission to do transfer-posting of officers. It is their duty to take action on receiving complaints. The investigation will not stop even after transfer, so why is JMM worried?
Dr. Arun Oraon also said that on one hand, JMM is confident that despite the transfer, the investigation process will not stop. If it is so, then why is he fretting? The government is theirs, then why was there a need to wrap up the Election Commission. Dr. Oraon said that the other officer posted there should get the investigation done and the culprit punished.

Dr. Arun Oraon, who was a part of Jharkhand Police, said that in fact JMM is surrounded by all-round crisis. The public no longer had faith in JMM or its leaders. Arun Oraon termed the anti-Modi nationwide alliance INDIA as Indi Thugbandhan and said that it is taking its last breaths in Jharkhand.
