Jharkhand News: The extended meeting of the JMM Central Committee will be held on Tuesday, July 4 at Sohrai Bhavan in Ranchi. Shibu Soren will preside over it. Working President and Chief Minister Hemant Soren will also be present with him on the occasion. In the meeting to be held from 10.30 am, 250 members of the Central Committee will brainstorm on what will be the next direction of the party. It was told that especially the Lok Sabha and Vidhansabha elections to be held next year will be discussed. It was told that the conch shell for the Lok Sabha elections would be held from here itself and the workers would be called upon to get involved in the election preparations. Members of Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha will also participate in the Central Committee meeting.
Current political situation will also be discussed
Chief Minister Hemant Soren will give information about the grand alliance being formed against the BJP across the country in the meeting. After this, the Central Committee will decide what will be the stand of the party regarding the Grand Alliance. How many seats and in which states will the party contest in the Lok Sabha elections? This will be discussed. The central committee will also decide what will be the main issue of the party.
Baby Devi will be presented as Dumri candidate
Late Jagarnath Mahato’s wife Baby Devi, who took oath as a minister on Monday, will be presented as a candidate for the Dumri assembly by-election in the central committee meeting. Shibu Soren will introduce him to the Central Committee.
Membership campaign will be reviewed
Senior JMM leader Vinod Pandey said that the target of making 50 lakh members given by the party will be reviewed in the Central Committee meeting. A report will be taken from the district committees as to how many members have been formed in which district. Apart from this, the organizational condition of the party will be discussed. From formation of class committee in districts to formation of central committee will also be discussed. President Shibu Soren and Working President Hemant Soren have already been authorized to take a decision on the formation of the Central Committee. Probably it can be announced.
