Jaguar Land Rover EV Tata Group-owned Jaguar Land Rover is developing itself as a fully electric vehicle brand. JLR Chairman N Chandrasekaran has said that Jaguar’s development as a fully electric luxury brand is progressing as planned.
He also added that the first new model will be introduced in 2025. He told shareholders in the company’s annual report for 2022-23 that the UK-based carmaker is set to transform into a modern luxury company.
Jaguar Land Rover is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors since 2008. Chandrasekaran said that the brand faced a difficult business environment in the last financial year. This included many issues like lack of electronic equipment.
