Jammu and Kashmir A team of security forces which had gone to raid a remote village in Rajouri district on Tuesday was attacked by terrorists. One soldier was martyred in the firing, while three others including a police SPO were injured. During this operation, an army dog Kent also died. Encounter continues with terrorists
Jammu region’s Additional Director General of Police Mukesh Singh said that there was an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Narla village of Rajouri, after which the army is conducting a search operation. He said that the Army and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police are at the encounter site and details are awaited.

Security forces had started a search operation in Patrada area on Monday evening.
The official said that the security forces had launched a search and cordon operation in the forest area of Patrada area on Monday evening and had also fired some bullets in view of the suspicious activities of two people. He said that both the suspects managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of the darkness and dense forests, but left behind their backpack, which was confiscated by the security forces. According to the officer, some clothes and some other materials have been recovered from it.
Siege in search of absconding terrorists
Officials said cordon and search operations have been intensified in Bambal and Narla and surrounding areas to trace the absconding terrorists.
