Jio, Nvidia will jointly make AI based supercomputer in India, Mukesh Ambani fulfilled the promise

Reliance’s Jio partners NVIDIA to set up AI infra in India – Jio Platforms has announced that it will work closely with Nvidia to build state-of-the-art cloud-based artificial intelligence infrastructure. India is already working ahead in the field of Artificial Intelligence, but the coming together of Jio and Nvidia will help India to grow rapidly in this field.

Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani recently made a big promise in the company’s AGM – to take artificial intelligence to every Indian. In the words of Mukesh Ambani- Seven years ago, Jio had promised that we will take broadband connectivity to every Indian, everywhere. We have fulfilled our promise. Today Jio is promising that we will succeed only by taking artificial intelligence to every Indian in every corner of the country.

Mukesh Ambani has said that with this partnership India’s development will catch a faster pace, India is using a lot of data. But now we are going further than this. We are now creating a technology framework, which will help in rapid development of the country. Together with Nvidia, we are building a computing and technology supercentre. With this, the country will get the same help as it got in the digital sector after the arrival of Jio. I am glad that Jio and Nvidia are starting a new journey together to achieve one goal.

New AI cloud infrastructure will enable researchers, developers, startups, scientists, AI practitioners and others across India to access instant computing and high-speed, secure cloud networking to run workloads securely and with extreme energy efficiency .

The new basic infrastructure will accelerate India’s flagship initiatives and a wide range of AI projects, including AI chatbots, drug discovery, climate research and more.

As part of this new collaboration, Nvidia will provide Jio with end-to-end supercomputer technology, including CPUs, GPUs, networking and AI operating systems and frameworks, to build the most advanced AI models. Jio will manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure and oversee customer connect and access.
