The SGFI National Football Competition was inaugurated on 17 January. With this the league competition had started. After which Jharkhand girls football team reached the finals of the competition by registering consecutive wins and won the title. First of all, Chandigarh was defeated by a huge margin of 11-0. After this, they made it to the final by defeating Manipur 3-0 in the semi-finals. Jharkhand women’s football team includes Anushka Kumari (captain), Simran Kumari, Ayushi Kumari, Suchita Oraon, Rajnandini Kumari, Sonal Munda, Ranjita Hembram, Deepika Kumari, Preeti Kumari, Bina Kumari, Reema Kumari, Sabarni Kumari, Sunaina Tudu, Gauri Singh, Usha Oraon, Mary Hansda, Aarti Kumari, Mautoshi Mandal are included. Jharkhand’s boys team has already become national champion many times in SGFI.
