Jharkhand: When did ED issue summons to CM Hemant Soren in the land scam, when was he asked to appear?

Ranchi: CM of Jharkhand Hemant Soren From Ed (Enforcement Directorate) conducted a long interrogation on Wednesday (January 31). ED interrogated him in the money laundering case related to the land scam. ED had sent him 10 summons in this case. Earlier on January 20, the ED team had interrogated. During this period, interrogation took place for about seven hours. After this, summons was issued to him again for questioning. In light of this, he was interrogated by ED officials today at the CM residence. Strict security arrangements were made for this. Arrested after questioning on 10th summons

Hemant Soren was interrogated by ED (Enforcement Directorate) on Wednesday. Issuing the 10th summons in the land scam case, ED had asked him to give the date and place for questioning between January 29 and 31. For this, time was given till 28th January, but he did not reply within the stipulated time and left for Delhi on the night of 27th January itself. On the morning of 29 January, the ED team raided the Delhi residence of CM Hemant Soren. Although he was not present in the residence. Here, the security arrangements at the CM residence in Ranchi were increased. Along with this, the CMO gave time till January 31 to ED for questioning. CM Hemant Soren reached Ranchi in the afternoon of 30 January and paid tribute to Bapu on Martyrdom Day at Morhabadi ground. At the scheduled time on Wednesday (January 31) at around 1:30 pm, the ED team reached the CM’s residence and interrogated him.

Summons issued to CM Hemant Soren on these dates

First summons: Sent on 8th August, instructions were to appear on 14th August

Second summons: sent on 19 August, instructions were to appear on 24 August

Third summons: Sent on 1st September, instructions were to appear on 9th September

Fourth summons: Sent on 17th September, instructions were to appear on 23rd September

Fifth summons: Sent on 26th September, instructions were to appear on 4th October

Sixth summons: sent on December 11, instructions to appear on December 12

Seventh summons: Sent on December 29, asked to decide the time and place for questioning yourself.

Eighth summons: Sent on 13 January, time given to record statement till 16-20 January.

Interrogation: CM was interrogated for the first time on January 20.

Ninth summons: Sent on January 25, give time for questioning between January 27 and 31 (CM cited being busy)

Tenth summons: Sent on 27 January. Asked to fix the time from 29th January to 31st January for recording the statement. For this, time was given till 28th January. Did not respond within stipulated time. CM Hemant Soren had left for Delhi on the night of 27 January itself. On the morning of 29 January, the ED team reached Hemant Soren’s Delhi residence. Here, the CMO had sent an email to the ED asking them to come to the CM’s residence for questioning on January 31.
