Ranchi: Hockey India’s AGM meet was organized at the Astroturf Stadium, Ranchi. Hockey India President Dilip Tirkey said at the AGM that Junior Boys-Girls won the gold medal in the Asian Championship. Girls are also performing brilliantly in the Jharkhand Women’s Asian Championship. Japan had never been defeated 5-0 in the history of Asian Games, that too was created in Ranchi. Last year, when the new body was formed, we had thought of working together at the grassroots level. We are continuously working on this.
