Jharkhand Weather: Lohardaga/Seraikela Kharsawan – On Holi, the weather pattern changed on Monday in many districts of Jharkhand including Ranchi, Lohardaga, Seraikela-Kharsawan. There was rain and hailstorm along with the storm. Along with this, lightning also wreaked havoc. The weather suddenly changed in Lohardaga district on Monday afternoon. There was thunderstorm and hailstorm in Senha block. This has caused huge loss. While one person has died due to lightning, two people have been seriously injured after a tree fell on the passenger shed. He has been admitted to the hospital.
One dead, two injured
In Lohardaga district, the weather changed on Monday and one person has died and two people have been injured due to thunderstorm and lightning. Two people were seriously injured when a tree fell on the passenger shed in Raniganj market. He has been admitted to Lohardaga Sadar Hospital for treatment. Today being a market day, people had gone to Raniganj market and suddenly a strong storm started. It started hailing. People reached the passenger shed to escape and a thick tree fell there. Many people got buried in it and many cattle also got buried. People somehow saved their lives. Apart from this, many kutcha houses collapsed and crops were heavily damaged.
Weather patterns changed in Seraikela-Kharsawan also
Change in weather was also seen in Seraikela-Kharsawan district of Jharkhand. There was a storm in Kuchai. It has rained lightly. Due to the storm, electric wires have broken and fallen at some places in Kharsawan and Kuchai. Due to this the power supply is disrupted. There are still dark clouds in the sky.
