Jharkhand Weather: Relief from heat in Jharkhand, mercury dropped

Ranchi: The turf made in Odisha is going towards Tamil Nadu. Due to its effect, the weather pattern has changed in entire Jharkhand including the capital. Its effect may last till April 12. Here, it started raining in the capital Ranchi at 11 pm on Sunday night. After this it rained intermittently till late night. People have got relief from the heat due to rain. The maximum temperature of Daltonganj has also dropped by five degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature of Ranchi and Jamshedpur has also dropped by about two degrees Celsius.

Jharkhand Meteorological Center scientist Satishchandra Mandal said that the effect of turf will be in the entire state. There may be thunder and rain in Palamu on April 9. From April 10 to 12, there may be rain in and around the capital Ranchi as well as in Kolhan division. Mr. Mandal said that in the last 24 hours the temperature at many places was around 40 degrees Celsius. Heat wave was going on in the southern part. It was cloudy since late Saturday evening. It also rained at some places. On Sunday, Turf is going from Odisha to North Tamil Nadu. Due to its effect, there may be thunder and lightning at some places till April 12. It may also rain. It will be cloudy for five days. There may be drizzle and rain at some places.

Center serious on heat stroke, meeting with states today

The central government is serious about heat stroke. A meeting has been called by NITI Aayog on Monday to prevent heat wave. In this, senior officials of all the states and union territories and officials of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Disaster Management Cell) will be included. In the meeting, there will be a special discussion on the heat wave prevailing in the plain areas. The states have often been warned by the central government. Special attention has been asked to be given to infants and newborn children, pregnant women, laborers working outside, mentally and physically ill people, especially those suffering from heart disease or high blood pressure. Instructions have been issued to check the symptoms of heatstroke in the patients in the out-patient department of the hospitals, make proper seating arrangements along with arrangement for cold drinking water and make arrangements for fans or coolers in the wards.
