There is still a high risk of thunder and lightning

The Meteorological Department has alerted the people and said that after the summer, monsoon has become active. This increases thunder and lightning. Need to avoid this. So far the state has received about 524 mm of rain. There is a deficiency of about 37 per cent rainfall. There is a shortage of rain in 20 districts. It is common in Kolhan. The situation is worst in Chatra.

Monsoon may intensify in next few hours

Abhishek Anand, in-charge of the weather center, said that a trough of monsoon is currently moving from the eastern part of the state to the Bay of Bengal via Gorakhpur, Patna, Hazaribagh. There is also a cyclonic circulation. Due to this, a low pressure can be formed in the next few hours. Due to its effect, the monsoon can be a little faster. Light to moderate rain may occur on September 5. There will be a slight decrease in it from 6th to 8th September. During this, there may be thunder and lightning at some places.

Monsoon becomes active in Jharkhand, effect will last for three-four days

Monsoon is active in almost entire Jharkhand. Its effect is visible in many areas including the capital Ranchi. The districts of Kolhan and Palamu divisions have also received good rainfall. Its effect is expected to last for three to four days.
