In the last 24 hours, there was good rain in many parts of Jharkhand. It rained around 44 mm in Maheshpur, 42 in Balumath, 41 in Pakuria, 33 in Bharno and 30 mm in Sisai. The Meteorological Center has predicted that for the next few days, there may be light to moderate rains in the state’s Kolhan division and its adjoining districts. Even after the rains, the state has received about 41 per cent less rainfall than normal.

Effect of low pressure created in Bay of Bengal visible in Jharkhand

The effect of the low pressure created in the Bay of Bengal and the cyclonic storm in Odisha is visible in Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department had told that around July 18, a low pressure area is forming in the Bay of Bengal. Its effect will remain in Jharkhand in the next one or two days. According to the forecast of the department, it is raining well in many districts of the state. There was a lot of rain in the capital Ranchi on Sunday evening. Even after that, it is raining intermittently in the capital. This morning also it rained in many parts of the city.
