Jharkhand Weather: How long will it rain in Jharkhand? Today the wind can blow at a speed of 60 km

Ranchi: An anti cyclone is forming in the Bay of Bengal. A turf from Jharkhand’s part is also moving towards Andhra Pradesh. Its effect is visible in different parts of Jharkhand since Sunday. Its most widespread impact can be seen on March 19. Winds can blow at speeds up to 60 km per hour in some parts of the state. There may also be thunderstorms along with hailstorm and thunder. Regarding this, the Meteorological Center has issued ‘Orange Alert’ for all the districts except four districts of the state – East West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega.

Here, the maximum rainfall of 40 mm in the last 24 hours has been recorded in Adki block of Khunti district. Good rain has also been reported in many parts of Simdega and Chaibasa districts. Director-in-charge of Meteorological Center Abhishek Anand has said that hailstorm may occur at many places on March 19. At some places winds can blow up to 50 to 60 km per hour. On March 20, winds may blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in the western and central parts. There may be light rain in some parts of the state on March 21. The weather is expected to become dry from March 22. According to Shri Anand, life can be affected due to hailstorm, thunder and lightning. In such times, people need to remain restrained. One should stay in safe places during strong winds. Farmers should take measures to save crops.

15 mm rain fell in the capital, trees fell at many places

There was good rain in many areas of the capital on Monday. It was cloudy here since morning. By afternoon, dark clouds covered the area. Heavy rain started in many parts of the capital from 4:00 pm onwards. Winds also blew at a faster speed than normal. It rained intermittently in the capital and surrounding areas till late night. Here, trees also fell at many places due to the strong wind. People faced problems due to water logging on the city roads.
