Jharkhand Weather: Heavy rain in many districts of Jharkhand for three days, know how long will the rain continue

Jharkhand Weather: Monsoon is active in Jharkhand. Its effect is visible in the entire state. A monsoon turf is going towards the Bay of Bengal via Jaisalmer, Gaya, Digha. A low pressure is also moving towards Central Maharashtra via Sikkim. It is going through Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh. Its impact is on Jharkhand. Due to this, there has been good rain in entire Jharkhand. There has been heavy rain at some places.

The beautiful hills of Godda received around 160 mm of rain on Friday. 135 mm rainfall has been recorded in Deoghar, 124 in Sahibganj, 110 in Simdega, 106 in Madhupur and around 97 mm in Hazaribagh. The state has received about 688 mm of rain since June 1. Normally, there should have been around 760 mm rainfall during this period. Seven districts of the state have received normal rainfall and 17 districts have received below normal rainfall. This is a decrease of about 29 percent from normal. Till a week ago there was about 35 percent reduction in rainfall.

Weather center’s forecast, how long will it rain?

According to Abhishek Anand, scientist in-charge of the weather centre, the current system will remain active in Jharkhand and surrounding areas for the next one or two days. There will be a slight decrease on 23-24 September. But, it will rain at many places. There will be a further reduction in this from 25th September. Thunder and lightning may also occur during this period. There is a need to avoid this. There may be heavy rain in Santal Pargana and adjoining areas on 23rd and 24th September. Its impact may also be felt in the surrounding districts.

Heavy rain occurred in many areas of the capital

Many areas of the capital have also received heavy rain in the last 24 hours. It rained intermittently from Thursday till late evening of Friday. This has affected life. Due to rain, there was waterlogging at many places. Rain continued in many areas including Ranchi on Saturday morning.
