Jharkhand Weather Forecast: In many districts of Jharkhand these days the temperature has crossed 40 degree Celsius. The mercury in 17 districts of the state including the capital Ranchi has crossed 40 degree Celsius. Godda is experiencing maximum heat. The mercury here reached 44.9 degree Celsius on Tuesday. The effect of increasing heat is visible on the common life. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heat wave in 18 districts. Looking at the weather conditions, people have been asked to be alert. At the same time, in view of the rising heat and heat wave, the government has changed the timing of all the schools in the state.

Mercury crosses 44 in three districts of Santal Pargana

Santal Pargana is experiencing maximum heat. The mercury has crossed 44 degree Celsius in three districts of Deoghar, Godda and Pakur. Whereas, the maximum temperature in Sahibganj was 42.7 degree Celsius. The weather is expected to change from April 20 in other districts except Santal Pargana. Whereas, the people of other districts including Santal Pargana are expected to get relief from the heat only after April 21.

Heat wave may continue in 18 districts

The Meteorological Department has appealed people to be cautious in view of the increasing heat. There is a possibility of heat wave in 18 districts of the state. Yellow alert has been issued regarding this. Here, from April 20, people are expected to get some relief. On April 20, apart from the southern part i.e. Kolhan and Simdega, there may be light rain along with thunder around the nearby central part capital Ranchi. On the other hand, on April 21 and 22, it may rain with thunder in the north-eastern part of the state i.e. Santal Pargana and Dhanbad and Giridih along with Kolhan, Simdega and nearby central parts. At the same time, on April 23 and 24, there may be light rain with thunder at some places in the state.
