The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in view of the weather of 26 and 27 April. Under this, thunder and lightning may occur at some places in the state. Surface wind can also blow. Today on Monday, there is a possibility of thunderstorm along with rain in Seraikela Kharsawan, Chatra, Dhanbad, Giridih, Latehar, Palamu in a few hours.

In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with thunder occurred at many places in the state. There was also hailstorm in Bokaro. The highest rainfall of 30.2 mm was recorded in Bokaro Thermal. The highest maximum temperature of 35.2 was recorded in Chaibasa. The lowest minimum temperature of 19.5 was recorded at Bokaro Thermal.
