Jharkhand Weather|Cold is increasing in all the districts of the state including Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. The minimum temperature of Ranchi has fallen below seven degrees. The maximum temperature is below normal except Daltenganj and Deoghar. A drop of more than three and a half degrees has been recorded in the minimum temperature. This information has been given by the Meteorological Department. Ranchi-based weather station of India Meteorological Center (IMD) has said that during the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature of Chaibasa was 9 degrees centigrade. The highest temperature was also recorded here. The highest temperature recorded in Chaibasa was 28.4 degrees centigrade. On Wednesday (December 13), the minimum temperature of Kanke in the capital Ranchi was recorded at 6.9 degrees centigrade, which is the lowest in Jharkhand. Ranchi-based weather center head Abhishek Anand said that there was fog in most areas of Jharkhand in the morning. Later the sky cleared. The weather remained dry. There is no possibility of any major change in the minimum temperature in Jharkhand during the coming five days. Talking about the weather of the capital Ranchi, the minimum temperature may drop a little further. There will be fog or mist in Ranchi from December 13 to December 17. The sky will be clear and the weather is expected to be dry. The maximum temperature during this period is expected to be between 21 to 23 degrees, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 9 to 10 degrees.
Ranchi’s maximum temperature below normal
The weather center said that the maximum temperature of Ranchi was 1.7 degrees below normal. The maximum temperature of Jamshedpur was 2 degrees below normal and that of Bokaro Thermal was 2.9 degrees below normal. The maximum temperature of Chaibasa was recorded 2.5 degrees above normal. Talking about the minimum temperature, the minimum temperature of Ranchi was recorded 0.2 degrees below normal, Jamshedpur 0.8 degrees, Bokaro-Thermal 2.4 degrees and Chaibasa’s minimum temperature was 3.5 degrees below normal.
Where was the lowest temperature in Jharkhand?
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperatures of the capital Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Chaibasa have declined by 0.2 degree centigrade, 0.6 degree centigrade and one degree centigrade respectively. The minimum temperature in Ranchi has increased by 0.1 degree, in Daltenganj by 0.3 degree, in Bokaro by 1.1 degree, while in Chaibasa a fall of 0.4 degree centigrade has been recorded. There was no rain anywhere in Jharkhand during this period. Data provided by the Meteorological Department shows that Kanke was colder than Kiriburu. The minimum temperature of Kiriburi today was 13.1 degrees, which is 6.2 degrees less than the minimum temperature of Kanke of 6.9 degrees.
