Jharkhand: Vice President in Dhanbad today, tight security arrangements, traffic will be blocked on some roads of the city for two hours

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will come to Dhanbad on 10 December. Strict security arrangements have been made here regarding his visit. The security forces have taken control from Kisan Chowk Barwada to the venue of the program at IIT ISM. Security personnel have been deployed at every step. According to the information, the Vice President will come to Dhanbad from Jamshedpur by helicopter. Will land at Barwada Airport at 4.40 pm. From there we will go to IIT ISM by road via City Centre, Randhir Verma Chowk. Will attend the convocation ceremony of IIT ISM here as the chief guest. Will leave from IIT ISM for Durgapur Airport by road at 6 pm. Security forces have been deployed at various places on their routes. The deployed officers and soldiers have taken charge on Saturday itself. Apart from Dhanbad Police, personnel from other districts of the state and JAP have also been put on duty here.

SPG, military officers took command

The main command of the Vice President’s security is handled by SPG and Air Force officers. Military officers and SPG officers are also deployed at the airport and the venue.

State Health Minister will welcome

The Vice President will be welcomed on behalf of the state government by Jharkhand’s Health, Medical Education and Disaster Management Minister Banna Gupta. He will reach Dhanbad by 12.30 pm. Will represent the state government in the entire program.

Traffic service will be disrupted from Kisan Chowk to ISM via City Center

Due to the visit of the Vice President, traffic service will be disrupted for some time from Kisan Chowk via ISM to City Center on Sunday. Movement of vehicles on this route will be stopped from 3 pm onwards. The movement of vehicles will start after his convoy passes. Whereas tomorrow the entry of heavy vehicles into the city will be completely prohibited. Separate centers have been made to stop heavy vehicles. Many drop gates and barriers have also been installed.
