Jharkhand: Union Minister Arjun Munda encouraged the archers, laid the foundation stone of shed and toilet in the ground.

Seraikela Kharsawan, Sachindra Kumar Dash: Union Minister cum President of Archery Association of India Arjun Munda Laid the foundation stone of a new shed and toilet for archery at Damadri Archery Ground in Kharsawan. These works will be completed in the next two months. Addressing the archers and local people, Arjun Munda said that with the construction of this shed, the trainee archers will be able to practice in a better manner. This archery training center of Damadri is historical. Archery training was started from here about 20 years ago. Along with this, Archery Academy was established in Dugni. Now it is a great pleasure to see that dozens of national and international archers have been produced from here. Many international archers like Deepika and Paltan Hansda have emerged from here. Today this ground of Damadiri has become a launching pad for archery.

All sports including archery have to be promoted

Union Minister Arjun Munda said that we have to take the game forward. With willpower we can achieve any goal. More and more children and youth should join archery. A better future can be created in the field of archery also. A large number of archers have made their future through the sport. He said that the sport of archery will be further encouraged in the coming days. Arrangements from training to equipment will be made to the archers without any kind of fee.
