Latehar Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan said that secret information was received on Sunday night that a case of cyber fraud was published on the helpline number 1930 of the National Cyber Crime Portal that Sosaya Banket Singh of Telangana was cheated of Rs 3,000 and was involved in the incident. The location of cyber criminals is Chandandih of Latehar. After this information, a team was formed under the leadership of SDPO Santosh Mishra and a raid was conducted and during this, Chhotu Kumar, Anand Kumar and Sulichand Kumar, living in a rented house, were arrested.
Many mobile phones and SIM cards recovered
Latehar Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan said that the three cyber criminals have 29 mobiles, 25 SIM cards, 5 chargers, five copies in which accounts of cyber fraud are mentioned. He told that the criminal history of all three is being ascertained and the amount has been recovered by making so many people victims of fraud. The incident of cyber fraud was carried out by demanding ATP from different mobile numbers in the name of Kairana lottery ticket.
