Relaxation of up to seven years will now be available in the maximum age limit for appointment of teachers in primary and middle schools of Jharkhand. In the advertisement issued by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission, earlier only relaxation of four years was given in the maximum age limit. The relaxation given in the age limit was not in accordance with the provisions of the rules. BollywoodWallah had prominently published the news related to it on Friday.
Taking cognizance of this, the Department of School Education and Literacy sent a letter to the Commission regarding its improvement. Department’s secretary K Ravi Kumar sent a letter in this regard to the commission’s secretary on Friday. After this, the commission increased the cut-off date of the maximum age limit for joining the appointment. In the revised advertisement issued by the commission, now the cut-off date of maximum age limit has been made August 1, 2016.
It is noteworthy that in the earlier advertisement, the cut-off of the maximum age limit was kept as August 1, 2019. On the basis of the advertisement released earlier, the candidate got four years relaxation in the age limit, now he will get seven years relaxation.
