Jharkhand: Students Union handed over the proof of CGL paper leak to the Governor, made this demand

Ranchi: Jharkhand State Students Union delegation met Governor CP Radhakrishnan on Monday and handed over the evidence of JSSC CGL paper leak to him. Also urged to make JSSC corruption free by arresting the real mastermind of the paper leak and conducting a CBI investigation. The delegation was led by Devendra Nath Mahato of the union. After meeting the Governor, Shri Mahato said that the Governor has talked about taking positive initiatives. He said that the Chief Secretary of the Government will be instructed to take positive and impartial action on all the demands. Point-wise detailed information about the CGL paper leak case has been given in the evidence and demand letter. CD and important documents have also been given in evidence.

Demand to release the result of Junior Engineer exam

Candidates of JSSC Junior Engineer Entrance Exam demanded release of result on Monday. The candidates appearing in the examination held in September 2023 submitted a memorandum in this regard to JMM General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya and MLA Deepika Pandey Singh. Candidates said that last year a reputed and reliable agency like TCS had conducted the examination. Even after four months of the examination, the result has not been released yet. If the result is not released, the candidates will fast unto death in front of Raj Bhavan from 16th February. Let us tell you that JSSC Junior Engineer examination has been conducted thrice in the last three years.

Demand to withdraw FIR lodged against students

The Governor was told that with the intention of weakening the movement against innocent students, a unilateral FIR (Case No. 46/2024) was lodged in Namkum police station on January 31. A request was made to return the FIR and do justice to the tribal-indigenous students. It was told that Devendra Nath Mahato, the leader of the ongoing movement to expose paper leak and corruption, is in danger to his life. A demand was made to provide them government security. A demand was made to end corruption in JSSC by getting the CGL paper leak mega scam investigated by CBI. Along with this, there was a demand to suspend JSSC President Neeraj Sinha, blacklist the agency conducting the CGL exam and get all the examinations conducted by the agency conducting the CGL exam investigated by SIT/CBI. Apart from Devendra Nath Mahato, the delegation included Yogesh Chandra Bharti, Chandan Kumar Rajak, Prem Nayak and Lucky Ramu Raj.
