Jharkhand: Son turns out to be father’s murderer, contract for murder was given for three lakhs in property dispute, two arrested including son

Koderma Market, Gautam Rana: Police have arrested two accused in connection with the murder of elderly Sakur Ansari in Pratiyasingha forest under Nawalshahi police station area of ​​Koderma district of Jharkhand. The arrested accused include Samsul Ansari, son of the deceased (resident of Nimadih, Ghodthamba Rajdhanwar, District Giridih) and Dwarika Turi alias Dwarik (father late Hari Turi) of the same village. Police have recovered the axe, shirt and a mobile used in the murder from the accused. This information was given by Superintendent of Police Anudeep Singh during the press conference. Nawalshahi police station in-charge Soni Pratap, SI Ranjit Kumar, Hrishikesh Kumar Sinha etc. were present on the spot.

Giving information about the entire incident, Koderma SP said that on February 5, Nawalshahi police received information that a dead body of a person was lying in Pratiyasingha forest. The body was identified as Sakur Ansari, resident of Ghodthamba, Neemadih. A case was registered under case number 06/24 section 302/201 in Nawalshahi police station regarding the incident. A team was formed under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Purushottam Kumar Singh for quick investigation. Police officials included in the team arrested Dwarika Turi and Samsul Ansari, son of the deceased, who were involved in the murder case, during the investigation.

Contract for murder of father was given for three lakhs

During interrogation, it was revealed that the deceased’s son had given contract for the murder of his father Sakur Ansari to Dwarika Turi for Rs 3 lakh in a property dispute. After this, Dwarika Turi took the deceased old man to the village to show the animal and on seeing the forest on the way, he killed it with an ax and ran away. The Superintendent of Police said that the deceased had 4 sons. Accused Samsul Ansari is the eldest son, who is a contractor in Ranchi, while his brothers used to support him. The accused son told that his father wanted to divide the money he earned and the property he bought equally among the four brothers, but the accused son was demanding a higher share. For this reason, the accused son gave Dwarka Turi the betel nut contract for killing his father for Rs 3 lakh and gave Rs 1,000 as advance.
