Jharkhand: Short film “Teere Bendho Na” will be screened at Dhaka Film Fest from January 20.

The short film ”Tere Bendho Na” directed by filmmaker Niranjan Kujur will be screened at the 22nd Dhaka International Film Festival. The film festival will start from January 20. It will be organized by Rainbow Film Society. Niranjan Kujur told that the story writer and cinematographer of the short film is Joydeep Bhowmik and the film editor is Jyoti Ranjan Nath. The story of the film revolves around the character Haripad. A health camp is organized in the school of Haripad’s daughter Urmi, where she is found to be suffering from a complex heart disease. Relations between Haripad and his wife are not good. Due to this, his wife has no hope from Haripad regarding the treatment of her daughter. In such a situation, Haripad gets busy in handling both the situations. Niranjan told that Haripad’s character is like that person present in every family, who does not understand the ways of the society. Also there is a lack of practical knowledge. Because of which they neither get love nor respect. ”Teere Bendho Na” is based on a real incident, which came to light a few years ago through a local Bengali newspaper. The story of the film has been decorated in a dramatic scope.
