Jharkhand News: Regarding the incident that took place in Jamshedpur Court on Friday, September 1, 2023, SSP Prabhat Kumar suspended sentry constable Suresh Prasad posted at the main gate of the court. Apart from this, show cause notice has been given to court in-charge ASI Dharmendra Kumar Chaudhary. Here, the health of ADJ-One presenter Rakesh Kumar, who was injured in the chopper attack, is improving. He was discharged from TMH on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Sahil chose the path of attack on Peshkar to go to jail

After interrogating Mo Sahil Bachha, a resident of Kadma Shastri Nagar block number-two, the Sitaramdera police sent the accused to judicial custody on Saturday. During interrogation Mo Sahil Bachha told the police that Ammi had locked him in the house two days ago. After which he tried to get out through the roof of the neighbor’s house. They caught him. After this he was beaten up. After which he was taken to Kadma police station. However, he was later released. On returning, some people of the colony asked to stay hidden, otherwise they were threatened by the neighbor saying that they would be beaten up. After this he thought of jail as the most suitable place to hide. For this, a plan was made to attack someone in the court premises itself, so that the police would send him to jail.

This is how the incident happened

Mo Sahil told the police that he went to Sakchi on foot on the day of the incident. There, after buying Chapaad for Rs 240, I bought Dendrite worth Rs 100. After consuming Dendrite, he went to court on foot. The policeman posted at the court gate tried to stop him. He dodged and ran away. After this he kept roaming in the court premises. Two to three people were present in all the courts. Saw Peshkar sitting alone in ADJ-1 court. Taking advantage of the opportunity they attacked him. According to the police, the arrested youth consumes a large amount of drugs. He had not made any systematic plan to attack Peshkar. He attacked Peshkar just to go to jail. After interrogation, Sahil Bachha was arrested and sent to jail.

Tighten security at court gate 24 hours

The High Court has taken cognizance of the case of attack on Rakesh Kumar, Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADJ-One) of East Singhbhum District Civil Court, with a chapada on Friday. On the instructions of the Chief Justice, Zonal Judge Sujit Narayan Prasad reviewed the security of the court on Saturday. During this, Principal District and Sessions Judge Anil Kumar Mishra, Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, SSP Prabhat Kumar were present. The zonal judge took stock of the court premises and the bar building. Said that the police should not remand after 5.30 pm. There should be 24-hour security arrangements at the court gate. The issue of parking of vehicles was raised by the ad-hoc committee on the spot. On this, the zonal judge directed to make parking of two wheelers in the area surrounded by railing in the middle of the court premises. Apart from this, directed to increase the car parking. The zonal judge directed to increase security in the court. Said that only vehicles of advocates and court personnel will enter the court premises. Instructed to conduct intensive checking at the gate. It is known that at around 6 pm on Friday evening, Mohd. Sahil Bachha, resident of Kadma Shastri Nagar Block Number-2, entered the meeting of ADJ-1 and attacked the presenter Rakesh Kumar with a chapa. Police arrested Sahil Bachha while he was trying to escape. Chapar was recovered from him.

Advocates of the court stayed away from work on Saturday in protest against the attack on the presenter. No work could be done in the court on Saturday. Advocates condemned the attack on presenter Rakesh Kumar. At the same time, there was a demand to increase security in the court premises.

The incident occurred due to police negligence: Ad-hoc committee

Here, a meeting of the ad-hoc committee of the District Bar Association was held on Saturday. After the meeting, the committee submitted a memorandum to the Principal District and Sessions Judge stating that the attack on the Peshkar was due to the negligence of the police. Advocates also often finish their work in the court premises from 6 to 6:30. There was no force deployed at the main gate when the incident occurred. Due to this the miscreant reached the court. The district police is being negligent in the matter of security in the court. Lala Ajit Ambasht and other members were present on the occasion.

Security tight at Seraikela court after Jamshedpur incident

On the other hand, after the fatal attack on the assistant clerk in Jamshedpur Civil Court, the security of District Civil Court Seraikela has been tightened. Regarding the security of the court, SP Dr. Vimal Kumar along with Principal District and Sessions Judge Vijay Kumar inspected the court premises. SDPO Harvinder Singh along with other police officers, judicial officers and bar advocates were present during the inspection. In the inspection, PDJ and SP inspected the entire civil court area. During this, necessary guidelines were given regarding security. Instructed the security forces deployed at the main gate of the court, watch tower and court hajat to check the people more closely. PDJ Vijay Kumar said during the inspection that the policemen should not be lax in the investigation. Examine all people closely. SP Vimal Kishore said that the police officers and personnel were instructed regarding the security arrangements that a meeting will be held soon with the Bar Association regarding the security of the court. In the meeting, discussion will also be held with the advocates regarding security in the court.
