Jharkhand: Sahibganj’s stone trader Krishna Saha on ED remand for 5 days, hope to get many important information

Jharkhand News: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) produced Sahibganj’s stone trader Krishna Kumar Saha, accused in the illegal mining and money laundering case, in the PMLA court on Thursday. During this, the court asked for a remand of seven days, but the court has allowed a remand of five days. After this, the court sent the arrested Krishna Saha to jail. ED will interrogate Krishna from Friday. Please tell that on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, ED arrested Krishna at night after questioning throughout the day.

On Thursday, the ED while presenting stone trader Krishna Saha in the special court of Prabhat Kumar Sharma sought remand for seven days. On which the court allowed five days. In this regard, advocate Saurabh Pandey told that Krishna Saha is accused of illegally earning Rs 19 crore including illegal mines. Along with this, there is also an allegation of supporting power broker Prem Prakash. The lawyer told that the court sent Krishna to Birsa Munda Central Jail. ED will interrogate Krishna from Friday.

ED arrested Krishna Saha on July 5

Let us tell you that on June 30, 2023, the ED had conducted a preliminary investigation into the death of two laborers during illegal mining at Chapande mountain in Sahibganj. After this, the ED sent summons to Krishna and directed him to appear for questioning at the regional office in Ranchi on July 5. On July 5, Krishna had reached the ED office at 09:30 instead of 11. Krishna Saha was arrested by the ED on the night of Wednesday, July 5, 2023, after a day-long interrogation.
