Jharkhand: Relief to CM Hemant Soren in the code of conduct violation case continues, next hearing to be held on December 12

Ranchi: CM of Jharkhand challenging the case registered for violation of code of conduct in Adityapur police station of Seraikela Kharsawan. Hemant Soren The petition will now be heard on December 12. The court of Justice Anil Kumar Chaudhary of Jharkhand High Court has stayed the coercive action against Hemant Soren. During the last hearing, the High Court had banned the pest action and directed the state government to file its reply within three weeks.

Demand to quash FIR

It is noteworthy that the applicant Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has filed a petition demanding cancellation of the FIR (418/2014) lodged at Adityapur police station. It has been said in the petition that during the elections in the year 2014, he had gone to campaign in favor of the candidate of his party (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha). He had not violated the code of conduct, even though an FIR had been registered against him accusing him of violating the code of conduct.
