Jharkhand: Rail passengers troubled by cockroaches, gold and food become haram, 12 crores are spent annually on cleanliness

Ranchi Rail Division is charging more money from railway passengers in the name of better facilities, but is not able to solve their problems. AC and sleeper coaches of many trains are full of cockroaches. The condition has become such that people are getting worried during the journey. Dr. Deeksha Sinha, who was traveling in seat number 28 of AC coach B-5 of train number 18615 (Howrah-Ranchi Kriyoga Express), informed the Railways about the problems being faced by the coach by tweeting.

On which DRM re-tweeted and said to take action. On the other hand, Mrinal Wadher, who was traveling by train number 22838 Ernakulam-Hatia train three days ago, tweeted and informed the railway minister and DRM about the problems caused by cockroaches. The traveler says that even after spending so much money, the cockroaches caused trouble throughout the night. Due to cockroaches, other passengers could neither eat food in the train nor sleep at night. Cockroaches entered the bags of many passengers.

12 crore spent annually on cleaning and maintenance of the train

Crores of rupees are spent annually on cleanliness in the trains running from Ranchi Rail Division. A railway official said that on an average Rs 12 crore is spent on cleaning the train in the washing line and Rs 6 crore is spent on the running train.

Instructions have been given to the concerned department to keep the system of cleanliness good. Action will be taken on receipt of complaint.

Train operations will be affected from today till 28

Ranchi / Dhanbad. Due to the construction of a new line (doubling) between Talgadiya and Bokaro en Cabin Adra Division of South-East Railway, the operation of trains will be affected. Due to this, the operation of trains running via Dhanbad will be affected from 25 to 28 July. Train 13503 and 13504 Barddhaman-Hatia-Bardhman MEMU Express and 13319 and 13320 Dumka-Ranchi-Dumka Express have been canceled from 25 to 28 July. Whereas 18019 and 18020 Jhargram-Dhanbad-Jhargram Express will run till Bokaro Steel City and this train will return from here.
