Jharkhand: PM Narendra Modi unveiled MiG-211 fighter plane used in the 1971 war at Raj Bhavan.

Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the MiG-211 fighter aircraft at Raj Bhavan in Ranchi on Wednesday. This fighter plane was used in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971. Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan and CM Hemant Soren were present on this occasion. Let us tell you that PM Modi reached Ranchi airport by special plane at 9.30 pm on Tuesday night on his two-day visit to Jharkhand. His convoy had reached Raj Bhavan from Birsa Munda Airport doing a road show. Here he rested for the night. After this, on Wednesday (15 November) after Ranchi, he went to Birsa Munda’s village Ulihatu and paid tribute to him on his birth anniversary. After addressing the public meeting in Khunti, PM Modi left for New Delhi.

Fighter aircraft were used in Bangladesh Liberation War

Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan posted on social media ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) and said that today on Wednesday, November 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the Mikoyan Gurevich (MiG-211) fighter aircraft at Raj Bhavan. This fighter aircraft was inducted into the Indian Air Force in 1964 and was successfully used in the Bangladesh Liberation War.
