Ranchi: In the terror funding case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will prepare videos of three big Naxalites and get their voices matched. The names of three big Naxalites include Krishna Hansda alias Saurabh alias Avinash, lodged in Hotwar jail, Nunuchand Mahato alias Nunulal alias Lakhan and Mithilesh Singh alias Duryodhan Mahato, living in Hazaribagh Open Jail. NIA officials will go to the concerned jail between January 22 and January 25 and prepare video recordings of the voices of these people. NIA officials will also take along with them a scientist from the State Forensic Science Laboratory.
It is noteworthy that a case was registered against Naxalites in Ranchi NIA in the year 2022 regarding terror funding. In this case, the above three Naxalites were taken on remand by the NIA on October 10, 2023, after which the research in the case is going on. It is noteworthy that in this case, NIA had earlier collected evidence against many people during the investigation. Later, during the investigation, NIA officials came to know that Naxalites used to call contractors and other people to collect levy.
