Ranchi: ED on Wednesday extracted the data of digital device of former minister Yogendra Sao. Yogendra Saav was also interrogated. In the light of the summons issued by ED, Yogendra Sao appeared at ED’s regional office for questioning at 11 o’clock in the day. Yogendra Sao’s daughter MLA Amba Prasad will be interrogated on Thursday. On Wednesday, MLA Amba Prasad also reached the ED office with food and medicine for her father.
During interrogation, ED took information from Yogendra Sao about his sources of income. After this, questions were asked related to the business activities and income of the companies included in the scope of the raid. Yogendra Sao’s answers to questions related to the functioning of companies were found contradictory. During the raid on the premises of Amba, Yogendra and people associated with him, ED had targeted companies named Heavicon Projects Private Limited, Ashtabhuj Mining Private Limited, Ashtabhuj Shramik, Kamakhya Concrete, M/s Ankit Raj and M/s SK Enterprises. ED asked many questions related to these companies to Yogendra Saath Saav. Also took information about his relations with these companies.

ED has registered IIR against Amba and her family members by combining the FIRs lodged in various police stations of Hazaribagh. In this, other allegations have been made including extortion, levy collection, illegal trade of sand. After registering the IIR, on March 13, ED had raided 20 locations of Amba Prasad, Yogendra Sao and their relatives and close people. During the raid, mobiles and other digital devices of the MLA and his family members were seized. ED had sent summons to Yogendra Sao, Amba Prasad and Ankit Raj and directed them to appear for further investigation and questioning in the case. Yogendra Sao was directed to appear on April 3, Amba on April 4 and Ankit on April 5.
