Jharkhand Naxalites: Naxalites of CPI Maoist Naxalite organization will celebrate Foundation Week Day from 21st to 27th September. During this period, the Police Headquarters has alerted the SP and Range DIG of all the Naxal affected districts to ensure that the Naxalites are not able to succeed in any of their plans. All districts have been instructed to make adequate arrangements for security. The police force has been instructed to keep a watch on any loose movement and activities of Naxalites in the Naxal affected area.
Naxalites can carry out a major incident
The police headquarters fears that during this time Naxalites may carry out some major incident to register their presence in the area. Apart from roads, railways and government buildings, Naxalites can target bridges and culverts or government construction sites. Therefore, from the security point of view, instructions have been given to collect information about such sensitive areas and make security arrangements there.
Keep an eye on Naxal activities
The Police Headquarters has also instructed the SPs of the districts to especially monitor the activities of Naxalites during the said period. Police have also been asked to remain alert at some points from security point of view. According to the information, in the last few days, Naxalites have made their presence felt by posting posters in some areas of Bokaro and Giridih. Therefore, in view of the activities of Naxalites, people have been asked to remain on high alert.
Naxalism ended after the killing of Maoist Kishan Ji.
After the killing of CPI Maoist Politburo member Koteshwar Rao alias Kishan Ji, Naxalism started ending from this area. After this, many prominent Naxalites like Kanhu Munda, Rahul alias Ranjit Pal surrendered along with his wife Joba. Dozens of Naxalites surrendered in Jhargram, Medinipur etc. places of West Bengal. All this happened after the year 2010-11. The organization continued to weaken due to the arrest and death of many prominent leaders of CPI Maoist and Politburo. Now CPI Maoist is fighting to save its existence in Saranda area of Kolhan. At other places the organization has lost its footing. State government, central and state police have important contribution in this. Naxalism was curbed due to development of roads, bridges, networks in villages and awareness of youth. Now it has become difficult for Naxalites to get new cadre. As a result, Naxalism is gradually ending.
Naxalite Asim Mandal underground with a reward of one crore
Naxalite Asim Mandal alias Akash alias Rakesh, carrying a reward of Rs 1 crore, has been underground for many years. The police and intelligence department do not have his information. There is a possibility that he has left the Ghatshila sub-division area and gone to some other place. There are 15 other armed Naxalites with him. Which includes Sachin, Sagar Singh, Madan Mahato, Atul, Mita etc. All the Naxalites have now taken shelter in the Saranda forest. From here he is fighting to save the existence of the organization.
