In this case, the police arrested a militant of PLFI, Ajay Oraon alias Sanjay Oraon alias Diljal Oraon, a resident of Kairo Torang in Lohardaga district and sent him to jail. Police has arrested Ajay from Kerala in the course of research.

Talking to reporters, Campaign SP Manish Kumar said that on April 10, the work of constructing a road from Jamti to Temkarcha was being done by Satya Construction Company. In which a working vehicle was set on fire and it was said to stop the work by throwing PLFI leaflets. In the light of which action was being taken against six-seven unknown people of PLFI organization by registering an FIR in Bishunpur police station.

In the course of research, it came to light that the incident was planned by hardcore Naxalite Ajay Oraon and his associates to create an atmosphere of fear. After which Ajay Oraon was brought to Gumla from Kerala for necessary enquiry. During interrogation, Ajay accepted his involvement in the incident. During this, the name of Krishna Yadav alias Sultan, a resident of Balsokra, Chanho, Ranchi was also mentioned. During this, the police recovered a country-made pistol, a live bullet of 0.315 bore and a PLFI leaflet hidden behind the house of Naxalite Ajay.
