Significantly, on June 14, 2022, the NIA took over the case and registered the case and started the investigation. According to the agency, the arrest and recovery of the Maoists took place after a raid in the forest area of ​​Bulbul. At that time the Maoists’ regional commander Ravindra Ganjhu, active cadre Balram Oraon, Muneshwar Ganjhu, Balak Ganjhu, Dinesh Nagesia, Aghnu Ganjhu, Lajim Ansari, Markush Nagesia were with them.
