Jharkhand: Madua pudding will be available in MDM, the central government approved Rs 30 crore

School children in Jharkhand will be given a dish made of Madua flour once a week in the mid-day meal. Its preparation has been completed by the Jharkhand State Mid Day Meal Authority. Necessary guidelines will be sent to the districts soon for this. It will be started in schools from the end of this month or next month. For this, the central government will give Rs 30 crore to the Jharkhand State Midday Meal Authority. The central government has also given approval regarding the amount. Children will be given halwa or laddoos made of Madua flour on Wednesdays or Fridays. It will be decided at the school level whether children should be given halwa or laddoos. The decision will be taken by the schools on the basis of the choice of the children. A committee has been constituted in this regard.
