Yogendra Tiwari kept trying to avoid ED’s questions even on Monday. Even in matters related to liquor trade, he did not give correct information. However, he admitted that in the year 2021-22 he had got the contract for the wholesale trade of liquor. On the question related to making demand drafts for the wholesale traders of 19 districts from the same bank of one district, he only informed about the draft made in the name of his company.
He denied having any kind of business relationship with the rest of the wholesalers. He also tried to avoid questions related to Prem Prakash’s role in the liquor business. On the call of ED, Sanjay Munnam also appeared for questioning. Idi asked questions about his relationship with liquor traders.
Yogendra Tiwari had brought some documents on Monday, but most of them were not as per the demand of ED. Yogendra Tiwari has been called again on Tuesday for questioning and recording his statement. On Tuesday, his brother Amarendra Tiwari also has to appear for questioning.
