Jharkhand: IED blast in Ichahatu village of West Singhbhum, CRPF jawan injured, airlifted to Ranchi

Jharkhand Naxal News: A jawan of CRPF 60 battalion was injured when he was hit by an IED blast planted by Naxalites near Ichahatu village under Naxal-affected Goilkera police station area of ​​West Singhbhum district. Immediately he was sent to Chakradharpur Railway Hospital for treatment, where after first aid he was airlifted to Ranchi for better treatment.

IED blast during search operation

According to the information, a search operation is being conducted on the information about the presence of Naxalites in the area. CRPF personnel are also involved in the operation. Some jawans had reached Ichahatu village riding a bike from Saitaba camp. Meanwhile, a bike came under the influence of the IED planted under the ground. There were two jawans on the bike. Out of these, Constable CS Mani of 60 Battalion was injured in the blast.

The injured jawan was airlifted to Ranchi

At the same time, the bike was completely damaged. After the incident, the injured jawan was sent to Chakradharpur Railway Hospital, where after giving first aid, the injured jawan was airlifted from Asantalia helipad and sent to Ranchi for better treatment.
